I don't often get the pleasure of staying at many of the hotels that we've worked at, but this years Valentines day my love treated me to one of the beautiful cottages at The Simpson House Inn in Santa Barbara. What a treat! We stayed in the Plumbstead cottage which was a quaint two story building with a private jacuzzi tub, fireplace and a fantastic breakfast that was brought to us at a predetermined time and set up for us on our porch. If that wasn't enough, they personally greeted us at our car as we parked and offered wine and hors d'oeuvres during the evening in the main building. If it couldn't get any better, they provided of my favorite products in the cottage... Kiehls! They even sent us away with a wonderful gift - some watercolor painted stationary by a local artist.
