So it’s the middle of Summer and you’ve yet to dial in your sun-protecting beauty kit. Not to worry, there’s still time to tweak and perfect your pre/post sunshine routine. Here’s our current go-to carry for a day in the sun, choose from it what you will and enjoy that Vitamin D!

First things first, sunscreen for your bod. Best practice, pre-bikini/one-piece/tankini/trunks/speedo–what have you, lather up with sunscreen all-over. Thus preventing weird missed areas and allowing some time for optimal absorption before you run into those waves (or pool) Baywatch style. We’ve been loving this one from Drunk Elephant. Not only is it one of the cleanest on the market but a little goes a long way and it makes a good base layer.
Now for that gorgeous face of yours. Almost everyone’s got a favorite daily driver when it comes to sunscreen for your face but if you haven’t found your fave may we suggest this combo that does it all. This easy spray-on from Supergoop in tandem with their Defense Refresh Setting Mist (SPF 50!) are quick, no fuss options. Bonus, snack on some sun-protecting fruits like raspberries and blueberries to help nourish your skin from the inside out. No sunburns for you this Summer!
What a day. Time to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate post shower with your favorite body oil or moisturizer to replenish that sun-kissed skin of yours. Lately, this clean and natural beaut from Nucifera has been on repeat after hours spent soaking up the sun.
