Top 5 Santa Barbara Wedding Venues

Whether you’re looking for breathtaking ocean views, serene mountain backdrops, or more of a modern vibe Santa Barbara County has it all. Home to some of the country’s most picturesque wedding venues, it is easy to see why so many couples choose this area to say “ I do!” These top 5 wedding venues are just a few of our favorites.

The Moxi

The Moxi is an interactive museum offering over 50 exhibits and providing couples and their guests with a fun, modern, and vibrant experience. Three floors and multiple event spaces allow couples the flexibility to create their own experience. One of our favorite features is the Levinson Family Sky Garden. This rooftop terrace with a glass floor features stunning city and ocean views. This unique venue provides an unforgettable experience for couples and their guests.

Santa Barbara Zoo

The Santa Barbara Zoo is an exotic and unique venue that will give you and your guests a memorable and out-of-the-box experience. Featuring 30 acres of luscious greens and six different spaces that can accommodate up to 2,500 guests, the Santa Barbara Zoo is the perfect location for intimate romantic weddings or grand events. Picture your ceremony with a palm tree backdrop and spectacular ocean views in the distance. Imagine walking into your reception, mingling with penguins, or posing with flamingos. You can arrange a train tour for your guests to see and even feed some animals. Whether you’re an animal enthusiast or looking for a vibrant, fun wedding atmosphere, the Santa Barbara Zoo is an idyllic location.

The Santa Barbara Courthouse

The Santa Barbara Courthouse is a historic building dating back to 1929 and features stunning Spanish revival architecture. It has beautiful tile, ornate woodwork, and gorgeous beams that offer an Old California vibe. This venue also features large manicured garden lawns and a beautiful clock tower that provides ocean, mountain, and city views. The Santa Barbara Courthouse can accommodate large or small weddings and provides couples with several venues within the courthouse to fit their needs and vision.

Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm

The Dos Pueblos Orchid Farm is a venue rich with history.  For over 200 years, 2 Native American tribes inhabited the land. In 1542, Juan Cabrillo renamed the land Los Dos Pueblos meaning the two villages. Since then, it has become the home to one of the largest orchid farms in the world. Now, it remains one of the most sought-after wedding venues boasting a little bit of everything. This gorgeous farm offers a variety of backdrops, including cactus, open fields, trees, and a stunning coastline. From an ocean-view ceremony atop a cliff overlooking the Pacific Ocean to a rustic reception in a romantic and utterly customizable greenhouse, it is obvious to see why so many couples have chosen this as their dream venue.

The Montecito Club

The Montecito Club is a century-old property with stunning Spanish architecture infused with Andalusian design elements and Moroccan influences. This newly renovated venue boasts panoramic ocean views, floor-to-ceiling windows, and gorgeous chandeliers. Each wedding is the only event on the property which offers the couple and their guest a sense of privacy and intimacy. With the meticulously maintained landscaping, historic architecture, and stunning views, it is obvious why the Montecito Club is considered a prominent wedding venue in Santa Barbara.

Santa Barbara County has a little bit of everything, and these venues are the perfect spaces to highlight the natural beauty in the area. From modern museums to wild animals, mountain backdrops to ocean views, there is a little something for everyone.

A very special San Ysidro Ranch Wedding

Hello Followers! We had the pleasure of working on a wedding last December with a bride named Wei Wei at San Ysidro Ranch. Wei Wei was not only only of the sweetest brides I have worked with, but gorgeous as well! I am so excited to be able to share these photos, especially since Wei Wei just contacted us again to do her hair and makeup for her Maternity shoot in October! I am thrilled to be able to share not only one, but two life changing memorable events with Wei Wei!

Congratulations to both Wei Wei and her husband Yerpeng on your Marriage and soon to be baby in the baby carriage!!
